Summer time in Atlanta is filled with numerous events to attend and a variety of places to go. At times it can be overwhelming, but lucky for us there are also numerous publications that give us all the information we need to fill our summer schedules.
This month’s Jezebel and Simply Buckhead are filled with ideas for the rest of the summer. Since these are the places to be and to be seen, make sure that you are seen in great outfits.

11th Annual Decatur BBQ Blues & Bluegrass Festival- August 20th
A great event for the family to enjoy BBQ and music. All proceeds go directly back to the Decatur community. You want to make sure that you are wearing comfortable shoes to be able to see all the festival has to offer and the Steve sandal from Camper will offer you that great comfort.
Piedmont Park Arts Fest- August 20- 21st

Opened in 2006 in Buckhead, Starfish has provided fresh sushi and a long list of wine and sake. A perfect spot for a date night. Switch for the Italian brand IXOS is the perfect shoe- it’s edgy and unique and the bow around the ankle provides a flirty touch.

Park Tavern Unplugged in the Park
Every Sunday evening during the summer, Park Tavern hosts Unplugged in the Park- a free music series. Spend the evening listening to great music, enjoying their menu, and enjoying the view of Atlanta. Cool and comfortable is the way to go. Corner Café
Brunch with family and friends is always a good way to end the weekend. Corner Cafe in Buckhead is a European-style bakery that offers not only fresh baked pastries, but also a full menu.
